Digital Research Unit - Seminar 3

The Digital Research unit needs no introduction really. I have been to several of their event and regard them quite highly for creating a fine meeting ground for artists of different disciplines.

This particular seminar was a platform to discuss the commissions of four artists: Michael Atavar, Tom Betts, Alexei Shulgin, and Rachel Reupke.

The Digital Research Unit is a new research and production facility, located at The Media Centre, Huddersfield, UK. Launched during October 2002, the DRU has been developed through key partnerships with Yorkshire Arts, The Arts Council of England, European Regional Development Funds and the University of Huddersfield.

Their creative programme consists of three core strands; DRU Commissions, DRU Research Programme and DRU Residency Programme.
