I had no idea what a friendly guy Luciano was until I wrote to him, for a year before contacting him I enjoyed and admired the work he presented on his site.

what sparked my interest initially was his piece titled bitmapARTIFICES. since I contacted him he has described some of the thinking behind his work and I am as impressed and pleased as ever.

His works can best be described as precise and poetic. In my personal opinion his grasp of space and appreciation of the mediums he is working with is also worthy of much praise.

In terms of the creative process he has adpoted; if I may quote him: "I find discovering to be a far more interesting process and a humbler one."

Interestingly this is quite different from my own (up to now) research centric approach, but in every way admirable.

I urge anyone to have a look at his site and enjoy the work as I have. I certainly look forward to corresponding with Luciano in the future.
